Tired of Pain That Just Won't Go Away?
Most people with pelvic pain, back pain, or sports injuries try generic fixes — and end up frustrated, dismissed, or back where they started.
Rushed, Generic Care
Insurance-driven clinics often limit sessions to 20 minutes with an aide, leaving root causes unaddressed and patients cycling through the same pain.
Dismissed or Misunderstood
Pelvic floor concerns, postpartum symptoms, and chronic pain are frequently minimized — leaving you to manage alone without real answers or a clear plan.
Short-Term Fixes, Long-Term Frustration
Injections, pain meds, and generic exercises may mask symptoms temporarily, but without addressing movement patterns and root causes, the pain returns.

"As an athlete, I've experienced torn muscles, broken bones, and ACL surgery. To be in a space where the physical therapists also lead your classes, and where reformers are integrated into therapy sessions, is hugely beneficial. I highly, highly recommend this studio."

-Jonathan M.
“As an athlete, I've experienced my share of injuries—torn muscles, broken bones, and ACL surgery—but my most chronic source of discomfort comes from AVN in my hips. I started with Rehab Pilates classes and quickly realized I had found my new home. Everything is hands-on and led with patience and understanding. Bridget and her team are truly amazing.“
-Julian G.
“I am having a great experience with Bridget at Balanced Physical Therapy & Pilates. The staff are all Drs. of Physical Therapy so they are professionals who are focused on healing, strengthening, and avoidance of injury. The Pilates classes are small and allow for individual attention. I highly recommend.“

Common Questions
Everything you need to know before your first visit to our Charlotte pelvic health physical therapy clinic.
Do I need a physician referral to start physical therapy?
No. North Carolina is a direct access state, which means you can schedule an evaluation at Balanced PT without a doctor's referral. Simply book online or call us at (704) 709-9387 — our team will take it from there.
Does Balanced PT accept insurance?
We are a self-pay and out-of-network clinic. This model allows us to spend the full 50 minutes of every visit focused entirely on you — not on insurance billing constraints. We provide a superbill after each session that you can submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement. Evaluations are $199; follow-up sessions are $150; small-group Pilates classes start at $40. A free 15-minute discovery call is always available.
What should I expect from pelvic health physical therapy?
Your first session is a thorough, private 50-minute evaluation with a Doctor of Physical Therapy or our specialized pelvic floor PT. We take a complete history, discuss your symptoms and goals, and begin a hands-on assessment. Pelvic floor therapy may include internal and external examination (always explained and consented to), personalized exercise prescription, manual therapy, and education. Most clients are seen once per week and begin noticing meaningful changes within the first few sessions. All genders are welcome.
