Meet with a doctor of physical therapy to discuss your injury or pain, talk about the activities you want to return to doing pain-free, assess your movement, and develop a treatment plan to help you feel better again. In-person sessions in Charlotte, NC or virtual options are available.

Wellness Visits
If you don’t have an injury but you’re not feeling your best and/or moving your best, wellness visits are a great option! We will assess your movement and discuss ways to help you reach your optimal health.
Due to regulations, those with Medicare coverage who are suffering an acute injury are not eligible for physical therapy at Balanced Pilates and Physical Therapy. Wellness visits are a great alternative for those individuals, too! If you are a Medicare beneficiary, the Balanced Physical Therapy team can see you for wellness and fitness needs. If you have acute, medically necessary physical therapy needs, we are happy to refer you to a Medicare-contracted provider.
Pelvic Floor Therapy
Pelvic Floor Physical Therapy is designed to assess, treat, and prevent a range of pelvic floor issues. From pelvic pain and incontinence to prenatal and postpartum concerns, our therapy sessions are tailored to your unique needs.
Assessment: Our therapists conduct thorough assessments to understand the root causes of your symptoms, considering both physical and emotional factors.
Education: Empower yourself with knowledge. Learn about the anatomy of the pelvic floor, its functions, and how various factors can impact its health.
Individualized Exercise Programs: Receive personalized exercise routines aimed at strengthening and restoring balance to the pelvic floor muscles.
Hands-on Techniques: Experience gentle, targeted techniques to release tension and improve muscle function.

Dance Conditioning
Dance-specific physical therapy care and personalized pilates sessions are available, using workouts designed to meet the unique needs of your dance training goals. Virtual sessions are available.
