Rehab Pilates

OUR SIGNATURE CLASS

An equipment-based Pilates class, taught by a doctor of physical therapy with a capacity of 4 participants per class. This smaller group class size allows our knowledgeable instructors to customize your experience and provide hands-on modifications as needed. If you are looking to add more movement into your day without the fear of pain limiting you, Rehab Pilates is a great option! It is perfect for people of all ages and experience levels, as it is designed to cater to your specific needs and goals.

Mat Classes:
All mat classes will have a maximum of 10 participants per class.

All Levels Mat Pilates

Mat Pilates is a practice of controlled movements that aim to strengthen, while focusing on posture, alignment, flexibility, body awareness, and breath. The quality and precision of movement is prioritized over the quantity of repetitions. It can help improve mobility, stability, and efficiency in other aspects of your physical lifestyle. This is an all-levels class with modifications to accommodate injuries, as well as advanced options to challenge you when you’re looking for that extra push.

Restorative Pilates

Restorative Pilates is our deep stretch class. We will take the Pilates principles of breath, concentration, and flow to reset the body. After a gentle warm up, we focus on connecting to breath, lengthening tight muscles, and improving joint mobility. Balance practice will be integrated as well. This restorative focus is a great addition to regularly add into your fitness routine for recovery.

Balanced Breath & Meditation

Most of us breathe more than 20,000 times per day without a thought. Because of the frequency of our breath, how we breathe when we are stressed, exercising, or talking can impact how we feel about our health over the long term. This breath work class will discuss the anatomy relevant to breathing and practice techniques to help with anxiety, exercise, and speaking. In each class, we’ll review techniques you can use to draw attention to your breath in various scenarios. This class is designed so that you can attend once and learn techniques to take with you. Class regulars will refine their skills each week and learn from the 100s of techniques that bring attention to your breath. Just like Pilates, breath work takes practice.

Pilates Bootcamp

A high intensity, strength based workout built on the foundation of Pilates. Build strength while getting your heart rate up, as it is designed to get the most out of your 50 minute workout. This class will utilize a variety of equipment as participants move through several different stations.
